Jojo Moyes is a British novelist and journalist born in Maidstone, Kent in 1969. After working as a journalist at The Independent for a decade, she published her first novel in 2002 and has since become one of the world's bestselling romance and literary fiction authors. Me Before You, published in 2012, has sold over 14 million copies worldwide and was adapted into a major film. Moyes is one of only a few authors to have held the No. 1 spot on the New York Times bestseller list simultaneously with two titles.
